What’s the problem, his handler has very probably been ennobled and is sitting in The House of Lords as we speak.

He should not have his citizenship stripped but be prosecuted under the treason laws. If found guilty he should then be stripped of his status and used as a bargaining chip.

Incompetence or corruption, or not the only one that should be on trial here

I think it’s incredible that this person could have access to these institutions and departments coming from a place like Russia. I’m sorry but no Russian should be allowed in this country as I don’t believe they can be trusted.

I cannot understand how this has happened. My parents were refugees from communism, my father serving in the armed forcers. My sister and I were both born in Britain but I when I joined the civil service, I was told I could only work in certain departments because I was a security risk. Similarly, I did would have had problems joining the armed services, which I also explored. Mine was not an isolated case. It applied to others whose families cames from the communist block but were born in Britain. Clearly, the policy must have changed drastically.

That is the problem with having non-British born citizens in Government circles, you simply can'y check out their past properly, you are depending on "hear-say" nothing more to vet them.

how tf does anyone carry out vetting on an asylum seeker? How do you sit down and question their friends family and associates and access their history in another country! Someone greased the wheels and there was money and nepotism involved here. When I was interviewed by a "squadron leader" for a temporary clearance he knew everything already and I left feeling like I had a head injury, my late father's Irish wolfhound was mentioned BY NAME and this dude just slides into the F.O.? Madness!

Biggest enabler of Putin since 2010? The Torys - "I don't see how Russian businessmen buying properties in the UK could be harmful" Who said that? Rees Mogg (the new Goebells)

I'm thinking the British and American secret service should open a direct line to the KGB. I mean the KGB have direct access to everything already.😂

This sort of thing shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone given the complacency of the U.K., anyones allowed in to do as they please and it’s been like that for decades and is only getting worse

Tories love Russian money and oligarchy in general
Brexit has proven to be an intricate situation, seemingly orchestrated primarily by the Tories/ERG with what appears to be systematic influence from Russian interests. Their objective was to extract the UK from the EU while safeguarding their financial interests, which also benefited Putin's war efforts by design (more on that later).

Throughout the process, the UK often dismissed warnings from the EU, US, and our government and ministries, labeling them as 'Project Fear' and downplaying the findings of the 'Russia report.' such rhetoric was and still is fully embraced by our national media for the most part. The actual outcomes of Brexit have fallen far behind the promising picture painted during the campaign, which pledged a brighter future.

It's worth noting that Brexit wasn't seen as a workable plan by the UK government then and now; there was and is a lack of any plan, where only slogans prevail, and we all know where that got us. The UK's isolation from international relations seemed like a perfect outcome on the Russian side.

Rebuilding the UK will be a complex and time-consuming task, while the EU has moved forward with a sense of relief after we severed ties with them. It's evident that we were seen as a hindrance to their progress, particularly when considering how swiftly the EU has been making advancements.

Furthermore, the persistent sensationalism and biased reporting in some tabloids indicate a robust anti-EU sentiment, often associated with outlets and organizations having ties to Russia/Kremlin, including figures like Boris Johnson and many Brexit supporters. As time passes, more and more of these connections come to light. It's worth contemplating whether these connections are mere coincidences.

And it's important to remember that Russia's influence on and in the UK might not be over. Putin is not known for his forgiving nature, and the consequences of the Tories and Tory media aligning with Russian interests will likely be felt for a long time.

We've haven't even touched upon China's interference.
