ok but what about if I have no access to what the previous wifi was called. I am trying to set up my tv, but the only button is the power button. The roku app is useless because the tv is not on the wifi and I have no way to get it on....

On the I phone, you cannot"create" a hot spot, it is already created for you. So, you cannot change anything on the roku because the app will not connect.
