Why don't case makers come up with a standardized plug for the "Start, Reset, HD Activity, " etc. I hate the tiny connectors that are now provided.

1:10 - Upgrade every 3 years??
Here I was thinking that I was being too loose with my spending by choosing to upgrade my core components after 5 years.
FeelsGoodMan to go from an i5-4690k to an i7-9700k,
and from DDR3 1866 to DDR4 3200.
I really just didn't feel like I *needed* to upgrade any sooner than this. With my GTX 970, I was still able to run most games on medium to high settings at 60+ FPS.
Given how much high-end computer hardware can cost, it seems a little unnecessary to upgrade more frequently than that.

Hello, Mr. Paul. If this doesn't get buried... I have an old DFI x38 motherboard with an E8400 that I was playing around with recently. Being in the BIOS of a motherboard from that period really brought me back to how different overclocking used to be. Do you ever miss the old days of overclocking when it wasn't just as simple as changing a multiplier? I sometimes miss those days when there was much, much more to fine tune; especially on a DFI board. May they rest in peace.

Paul I have that Cooler Master Control Pad at 14:56 because I joined their Kickstarter for it. It's felt like forever waiting for it to finally get made and shipped to me just a few weeks ago! it's been really useful and their software for it is pretty great too. I use it with my laptop basically giving it 24 extra keys and volume slider at the top. I feel pretty cool getting it so early. it was the first thing I ever kick started, I didn't realize how much anxiety there was wondering if they would follow through or not. You can't help but worry if the thing you put money down for is going to exist at all. Thank goodness it arrived. I figured considering it was cooler master, a well-known established company it should be fine

Thank you for making many great videos, they are very instructive. When you have more time, please would you consider any of the following build videos:
- An updated video for a NAS for household PC/device backups.
- An updated video for a HTPC.
- A PC built into a cupboard or other furniture unit with emphasis on good cooling (possibly including the fundamentals of good air cooling).
Ideally a combination of all three would be most helpful because that is the build I am researching and it presents several obstacles so your thoughts or opinions would be very helpful.

I love how even for a 20 min video you go straight to the point, don't spend too much fluff or repeating yourself and even timestamped the different points. great vides, keep it up! :D

I recently started my first build. I spent tons of time online researching all of it. Prior to this, I was a pre-build kind guy. I just want to say thanks to you for giving me the confidence AND a place to look when I felt overwhelmed. You da man!!!

Hey Paul, love the videos. My question is with the increase in cases supporting USB type C why are motherboard manufacturers not including it in more boards.
