I love how artistic Japan is with their food. They make everything so pretty/cute and a lot of hard work goes into them. I remember buying sushi for the first time years ago and thinking about how pretty they were but they are so many even more intricate and beautiful things. Their foods are literally works of art and I love it. I wish there was more artistic foods in the US but every time we see a fancy cake or something they want a ridiculous amount of money
