This video saved my life. Just adding some highlights: When creating an external schema, you need to pass both iam roles, in the video it shows very fast and can be mislead this good content.

Cross access for Redshift from Account A to Glue and S3 in Account B - There are actually three IAM roles here - two in Account A( and both needed to be passed ) -Redshift account 1. Redshift Role 2. Role to Assume Role IAM Role B in account B specifically Role B 3. IAM Role to access Glue and S3 - + trusted account A IAM Roles.

In the case, the s3 buckets and data catalog is present in second account where as Redshift cluster is present in first account. Can this be done if i want to have data catalog with in Redshift account and just the S3 bucket in second account?
