I'm 41 and started skating for the first time in January. My son introduced to this channel and I'm surprised how much progress I've been able to make. Landed a shove it yesterday and can get it almost every time now. It's awesome seeing all the comments from others around my age getting back into skating or picking it up for the first time.

Aaron and team, I cant thank you guys enough for the motivation and lessons through your content. I am 36 and started skating about 3 months ago due to you guys. Just landed my first frontside 180 today and my first frontside 5050 last week. Looking forward to my first kickflip. Thank you guys. Please never stop.

Hey Aaron, love the series! I wish I could follow along skating with every episode, but the winter weather isn't exactly giving me the chance to do so :D As soon as spring hits and it is dry outside, I'll for sure try to get the progression for vid 1-10. I've been skating on and off for about 7 years, and last summer I finally got my moving ollies almost every try :D Cheers from Bulgaria, and keep on shredding!

I am beginning to skateboard. So far been following along on your course and have been keeping up. I accidentally did a pop shove it after spending so much time and learning the Ollie and it felt natural so I worked on that and landed a couple of them! I am 39 and never skateboarded before been skating for 4 weeks! Still working on landing these tricks I have but it’s been harder and less consistent while rolling. I will continue to keep working on while leaving the frontside and backside 180. Than you for spending the time to build these you have made learning a very difficult sport a little easier.

Being BRAILLE Skateboarding you should get Nicholas Mullins on he is a really talented Skateboarder and happens to be blind. Watch his documentary it’s short and extremely inspiring.

I learned for FS 180 before I could ollie cleanly. My ollies kept going 90 degrees (bad foot placement) so I just went for it and it worked.

Man I need this today. I’ve been trying to do the sms vol 1 tricks all in a row with no mistakes. Today my best attempt died because of my FS 180. How could I lose it there?! I guess none of these tricks are ever truly free (at least for me).

I dont generally comment but you encouraged me enough lol, your videos are amazing all the way from how you explain and describe, to how you animate and normalize odd, new movements. However, what prompted me was the baseball bat reference only because its misleading to baseball. In the contrary to what you said, the swing in baseball come from the hips first, but the concept is exactly the same, one moves/powers the other, hips and shoulders. Again your videos are amazing!

I'm 32 and taking up skating again after 15 years. I blew out my knee playing football in high-school. I could really use some tips riding switch with my week left knee??

FS 180 is my go to trick... backside just still rusts sometimes.

oh, I like how you added in Regular and Goofy labels, I was wondering why the last few videos didn't mention it and just kept swapping back and forth between them. Maybe you can show both on screen at once, like left and right, just to show the difference?

I think the fs 180 is easier than the shuvit. At least I can fs 180 almost effortlessly but I can’t really shuv at all
