Bessie Ellen turns 120 in 2024, and to celebrate she's embarking on a voyage round Britain and taking part in the maritime festivals at Brest and Douarnenez. In this special year, owner and skipper Nikki Alford sits down to tell us Bessie Ellen's story. In part two, we learn about her years in Denmark, carrying cargo under Captain Christian Moller, then her years laid up being restored by Ole Pietersen.
