Welcome back, I’m Sean, We have seen many great phones at budget friendly prices from POCO, and it seemed that this formula is working out great for them. Today we’re checking out a pretty great phone from them, with a couple of flaws in the mix, let’s check it out.

I bought this phone about 2 months ago - was great at first then i updated to Hyper OS (from Miui) and then the problems started, lag, glitches, lock screen taking approx 5 seconds to come on etc etc. Bought a Ulefone Note 18 ULTRA - moved everything off my Poco over to the Ulefone (by the way the Ulefone is a freakin glorious handset) - factory reset my Poco M6 Pro (twice just to be sure) and wallah it is now working flawlessly and has been over a week now - so then i had a dilemma, which do i keep ? The POCO or the ULEFONE - as premium as the Ulefone feels somehow i just love the feel of the POCO in my hand so gave my wife the ULEFONE and she absolutely loves it too - and i am really loving my POCO M6 PRO too so everyone is a winner. So if you upgraded from miui to hyper os and having issues try a factory reset - worked for me 👍

Nice review of a very impressive budget phone 😀👍. I found out that there's a 5G model available but with very different specs, it's actually much worse than this one! I now believe this Poco M6 Pro (4G) will be the best budget phone in 2024.

What always frustrates me about reviews like this is that voice call quality is almost never mentioned. After all, it's a phone, isn't it?

Nice review... For 4k videos you need 55 inch tv and above to see the difference. That's why 4k released. So the marketing in mobile phones is just for show..

I have owned M6 pro for nine months now. I loved it for the cost it came at & I still love it.

If you particularly want to look at the antutu scores, it's almost up there with the SD 845 (Poco F1 ❤)

Two things I noticed, especially after upgrading to HyperOS 2, the experience has become sluggish. Smoothness, butteriness comes at a cost. & I believe Xiaomi could have done a better job, if they had ported their HyperOS for lesser capacity chips. I believe current HyperOS 2 will perform better on midrange or flagship devices. But definitely not optimised for a device based on SD 4 Gen 2 or similar chipsets. Second is, the camera became worse after the upgrade.
Man, I have loved Poco for performance & ignored their "sub-standard" cameras as they did the job I needed. But truly, Poco M6 Pro's camera after HyperOS 2 update, is a true shit.

Of all the M series that Poco releases, this is the most aesthetic and stylish design they released, so much improvement versus the past years releases. I will definitely chooses this over INFINIX ZERO 30 4G AND HOT 40 PRO and Also Tecno spark 20 PRO.


Btw...I just get the unit at Lazada for only 11, 065 for 12-512 variant less all vouchers that I have. So Soon will buy Pixel Phone. Sa ngayun Eto muna Poco ulit. Pahinga na si Poco x3 NFC ko after 3 years.

PS...Sana lang nag lagay sila kahit 4k 30fps sa video capabilities.
All in goods na to...for me na casual user lang. What more can i ask for.

🤔🤔🤔✨ THOSE 12 Gb ram....are more for marketing.... I own Poco X3 pro from 2021 with features that today are still expensive and Poco M6 pro doesn't bring much in 2024....I have 8 Gb ram and 256 Gb internal ..1 Tb on sd card memory and 5160 mAh battery...778 Snapdragon processor...on Poco X3 pro !!!!....so what else is new ...!?
