Welcome to QATAR AIRWAYS A380 economy class trip report!

We are flying from Doha Airport to Bangkok on the amazing Airbus A380.
A380 configuration : 3-4-3 in Economy, First class: 8 open suites, Business: 48 flat bed seats,Economy class:461 standard seats.

The A380, the world’s largest passenger jet, features a tri-class configuration of seating in First, Business and Economy Class, over two decks with a dedicated onboard premium lounge. From the warm welcome when you arrive, to the state-of-the-art entertainment system and delicious gourmet dining, our secret to unforgettable flying is simple: it’s all in the detail.

Around 1 hour after take cabin crew members served Brunch with consist of 3 choices :Hand-rolled cheese omelette with chicken sausage, Asian style beef meatballs and Penne pasta Parmesan herb sauce.
On the tray you will have seasonal fruits ,bread, water and Peach mousse.

Before landing crew offered two delicious options: Chicken puff and the vegetarian option Tomato and basil pizza slice.

Flew Emirates A380 Manchester to Dubai, brilliant service.Then flew boeing 777 to Japan to visitson&daughter in law, not keen on 777.Then did return 3 weeks later could not fault Emirates at all.17 hours journey each way, but glad wife& myself did it.

Qatar, who was the first a350 operator was the biggest a350 operator until April 2021.
Now that Qatar's Airbus order is reinstated, Qatar will become the largest operator of the a350 again. Qatar was itself my first favorite airline for a350.

Thank you for this trip report. I'm noticing a trend on Qatar Airways. The Economy class meal service seems to have been greatly reduced from years past. It does not appear to be a 5 star standard.

QR is a great airline with onboard staff to match. But the CEO is not a fan of the A380 ... unfortunately. He says he will only operate the A380 for a couple of years before retiring them. But of course things might change.
