I really enjoyed this video. We were just there in September. I remember feeling a bit like your Mom, let down by the Sistine. In fact the Duomo in Sienna is the one that blew me away. Totally agree with you about those crowds. So frustrating! So many people coughing on us without covering their mouths! So rude.

I’m planning a trip to Italy this summer…I know, hot and crowded, but my granddaughters are out of school then so what can I do. Bring lots of deodorant and don’t forget to pack my patience. We are planning on going to Milan. It will be my first time there. I loved seeing your views of Rome and the Vatican. Have you read any of Ross King’s books? I was awed by Raphael’s rooms. Thanks for this.
