Great tip with the razor! I found after scraping lightly scrubbing with some corn starch (baking section of the market) and a plastic scouring pad (get a bag full at the dollar store) takes the last bit of wax off.

For the final removal of wax before repairs, right before turpentine, I use a Japanese wash cloth and cold water. Especially if there pressure dings it’s super easy to get everything

You can completely remove the blade through the back of the handle if thats easier

They do sell a "surf wax comb" but in a pinch perfect 🤙

Doesn’t that scratch the board though?

Or leave your board in the sun for 10pm and use a wax scraper and a dry terry cloth to buff off the excess.

Stick to a plastic de waxing tool. Razors cut through gel coats and scratch.

Only thing I'd add is to wear safety glasses (sunglasses will do). Had a coworker that used it for scraping wax off a rail when they used to have liquid wax for treadmills. after one side he went to the next and the blade snapped and caught him in the cheek bone. An inch or so more and he would've been a forever pirate joke.

use a old credit card... they wouldn't scatch your board up.

cloth on board, poor hot water on cloth, drag cloth from board. quickest imo

Sunshine and newspaper then flour. If you don't have sunshine try a blow dryer.

Or you can just use a fillet knife like a normal person
