Tropical Storm Ophelia is intensifying as it moves toward North Carolina's coast Friday evening, bringing heavy rain and windy conditions. The storm is southeast of Cape Lookout, North Carolina with sustained winds of around 70 miles per hour, as of 8 p.m. Friday. It is expected to move north into the coastal regions of Virginia and North Carolina late Friday into Saturday morning.
