My first night playing with paracord and I now have two lanyards (and a begleri, of course). Thanks for the fantastic videos and simple instructions! I look forward to learning so much more

Its crazy how people will pay for stuff like this when you can learn to stitch, sew, knot, etc fairly easily by learning on youtube and you can source literally all the materials from to make like 50 of these things from Aliexpress for like 9 bucks lol.

When anything breaks around the house I get excited because its an opportunity to learn to fix something better than it was before.

I like utility projects much more than just fashion/decorative stuff

I just got to tell you man, I’ve been watching your channel on and off for years, congruent with my on and off obsession with paracord, and you’ve been one of my Comfort creators all the while. I love coming back to these videos and having that same happiness I found when I first discovered paracord in my early teenage years. You’re awesome man, thank you.

Hey! I just discovered your channel a couple days ago and just want to give you a high five for your videos. Short, to the point, and useful. The best kind of video! No bullship and filled with cool useful tricks!

I have noticed a lot of things on kickstarter like that, things that would be so easy for anyone to make its almost pointless to do a kickstarter for it, so far the only two things i have gotten on kickstarter was way back when i saw peak designs capture camera clip, i still use it all the time, and one of my favorite artists did an art book lol.

A cow hitch becomes a girth hitch when the ends are secured. Also, scaffolding knots are double fisherman's knot. All of these used in climbing :) Thanks for the video.

Thanks for the idea. Built 4 of these lanyards with stuff already owning and ordered the cord locks for a few bucks. Amazing gift imo. Another use is a emergency belt. My version is capable of this function. ☮️

I've seen these (only shorter) in some 'dog poo sets' as a holder for full poo bags. you attach it to your belt or bag or leash and between the two 'dog noses' you put the opening of the bag. and squeeze it firmly hoping that it won't slip outside...

Thanks. It helped me to carry 4 ski poles today.

Thanks! I recently made both of these just to see how they worked and I ended up creating a whole new type of lanyard that works for me! Thanks for getting my creative juices going!

In 15 minutes I made a pair of carry handles for three 2 liter bottles with eight zip ties and a pair of old bootlaces. Six zip ties were used to form adjustable loops to go over the rims of 2 liter bottle necks, with some double overhand knots to form stops at the zip ties. the two remaining zip ties formed the hand grip loops. This is just like the leather thong gadgets that have been sold for decades to carry game birds and other small animals taken in the field, except it only cost pennies to make. I expect zip ties could replace the slides on your design for even more savings. The also have a trimmer look than the spring sliders, IMO.

Your thumbnail gave me an idea. The doggy noses can be used as ranger beads.

I literally made this myself the other day! It cost me the same amount for all of the supplies but now I can make 4-5 of them!

Ok if you add a few more cord locks you can use it as a pace counter for land navigation giving it five uses. Good video. God bless.

I wonder how many bushcrafters were already creating these for their own use, and never thought to sell them to people who are to lazy to DIY?
