Featuring new, revolutionary Target Control® (TC™) Level 1 Technology. The Zircon® SuperScan® M1 advanced stud finder is tuned to find wood studs while filtering out metallic false positive objects, such as plumbing, conduit, straps, brackets, or ducts, hidden behind surfaces. The LoLevel® Indicator signals to the presence of dangerous, deep, and less dense false positive targets, reducing the chance of accidentally drilling into objects such as plastic pipes.
The SuperScan® M1 offers two distinct detection modes – TC™ and StudScan. The ColorTrip® Display conveniently details information. The screen will illuminate blue in TC™ mode and indicate the center, edges, and direction of wood studs while also enabling the user to identify clean, ‘safe-to-drill’ zones by utilizing the new ‘Trust but Verify’ technique. When TC™ mode is off, the tool will perform in StudScan mode indicating the center, edges, and direction of both wood and metal studs. The Target Spotlight illuminates on screen and the SpotLite® Pointer shines on the surface being scanned when the center of a stud is found.
Use the SuperScan® M1 advanced stud finder in most of your DIY and home improvement projects to hang pictures, mount shelves, flat screen televisions, and more.

Caution: Do not rely exclusively on scanners to locate objects behind a scanned surface. Some objects may not be detectable by your scanner. Use additional information sources such as visible points of entry of pipes and wiring into walls, standard 16 in. and 24 in. (40 – 60 cm) stud spacing practices, and construction plans to determine the likely location of hidden objects. Always use caution before drilling or cutting.
WARNING: ALWAYS TURN OFF THE ELECTRIC, GAS, AND WATER SUPPLIES BEFORE PENETRATING A SURFACE. NEVER ASSUME THERE ARE NO LIVE ELECTRICAL WIRES IN A WALL. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS MAY RESULT IN ELECTRIC SHOCK, FIRE, SERIOUS INJURY, AND/OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.
*NOTE: USE ONLY IN ACCORDANCE WITH SUPERSCAN® M1 INSTRUCTIONS.
See tool’s instructions for more information. Sensing depth and accuracy can vary due to
moisture, content of materials, wall texture, paint, etc. Indoor use only.
