Featuring new, revolutionary Target Control® (TC™) Level 1 Technology. The Zircon® SuperScan® M1 advanced stud finder is tuned to find wood studs while filtering out metallic false positive objects, such as plumbing, conduit, straps, brackets, or ducts, hidden behind surfaces. The LoLevel® Indicator signals to the presence of dangerous, deep, and less dense false positive targets, reducing the chance of accidentally drilling into objects such as plastic pipes.

The SuperScan® M1 offers two distinct detection modes – TC™ and StudScan. The ColorTrip® Display conveniently details information. The screen will illuminate blue in TC™ mode and indicate the center, edges, and direction of wood studs while also enabling the user to identify clean, ‘safe-to-drill’ zones by utilizing the new ‘Trust but Verify’ technique. When TC™ mode is off, the tool will perform in StudScan mode indicating the center, edges, and direction of both wood and metal studs. The Target Spotlight illuminates on screen and the SpotLite® Pointer shines on the surface being scanned when the center of a stud is found.

I laid it flat in the middle of my chest and it started beeping like crazy. Am I a stud?

So with a regular battery it will not work. I put a regular Duracell battery and mine is not working right at all.

My scanners wire warning always goes off on every stuff I find and often when just scanning the wall itself. Is this normal or did I receive a defective scanner?

I just picked one up and mine doesn't do any of that. I was checking for studs and electrical wire and the whole screen flares red and the nail sign comes on a lot in different areas of the wall where a nail shouldn't be

Got the H1 model of this same brand and it’s a piece of shit. Doesn’t work at all and can’t even pick up a stud even when I know I’m right on top of it. Straight up junk.

Worst product ever. Not confident at all in its use. Not consistent in scanning. If it is detecting a stud they must be running around behind the walls .
