Guidance is just perfection! A true 10 and love for me. So happy you were able to get a decant. I agree not a blind buy scent, but my best blind buy of 2023 so far lol!

Valaya is so more complex than I expected and gets sweeter the longer I wear it. I was pleasantly surprised and purchased a full bottle with zero regrets. Some have compared it to MFK 724 but that smells like clean pure detergent to me. Valaya is “clean” but it’s very sweet, warm florals and airy.

Thank for the heads up on the On A Date lol...I don't want a Patchouli bomb.I tried to smell in store yesterday while out shopping but they didn't have it on display.

I had the same experience with Valaya. I was at the cusp of do I like it or not, then my husband said I smelled like a luxury retirement home and well, that made it a no for me! That being said, it is nice and it doesn’t smell like that to me however, I can see how he would perceive it as more mature! My SA was able to make me a decant and half of the times I wore it I loved it, the other half it felt almost sharp on me. Body chemistry is so personal. I can see this smelling amazing on many others!!

I just bought a decant of Guidance. I’m so excited to get my nose on it. Osmanthus is one of my favorite floral notes. I’m just hoping it’s not heavy on the saffron!

I love that you are using so much discernment with bringing full bottles into your collection. I am TRYING to do the same. Some of these good cheapies have me blind buying, but I've been having a lot of luck. Still. I don't need 100 bottles of perfume. I have been sampling and decanting A TON and so glad I hadn't just blind bought most of these. Because while some are "nice" they wouldn't be a favorite for me. I do have some niche on my list but still have the decants to go through before definitely buying. Or maybe finding a good sale?

Valaya was a scrubber. It was the strongest most sythethic bomb of musk I ever smelled. I should have never put it on my skin. It took me 2 days to get rid of the smell. It reminded me of a bad laundry detergent from the late 90s.

I found that Orange flowers by Montale it’s a much stronger, honey and white floral dominant fragrance. Similar buy way better than the Kilian one❤
