"Careless Whisper" is a song that accurately depicts the crumbling of a relationship. It's a romantic song, yes, but only in the sense of losing that romance (and it happened because he decided to be a lecherous lothario, thus fucking it all up). In less than five and a half minutes, Kfir, you summed up those feelings of loneliness, desperation, isolation and pain so beautifully. The combo of slurs, slides and bends (especially those shiver-inducing bends at 1:54 and then again at 2:53, followed by the mother and father of all bends; that sucker punch at 2:58), coupled with a gorgeous melodic sense, makes my lower lip quiver. Those bends I mentioned brought tears to my eyes. Thank you again, Kfir, for reminding everyone of the power of the cranked guitar. Bless you.
