What if P = NP?

If P = NP, the whole world collapses. Many problems which were thought of not possible to solve in poly-time, can now be able to. It makes many positive as well as negative impacts on our lives. On positive side, many important problems like finding the best treatment for any disease is possible. On the other hand, the whole communication, financial transaction are dependent on the fact that decryption of the message without password is impossible due to P not equal to NP. But if P = NP, then the whole banking sector, communication sector and similar simply collapse. But, friends, nothing to worry. Your messages are secret and transactions are safe as till now all these problems are NP-Complete problems and they need exponential time to crack!
