Today I talk about the AGD DUET MONOBLOCK amplifiers. These two boxes are small, lightweight, run cool and have effortless power to drive any speaker. These use GaN MOSFET tech and these are created my Albert Guerra at AGD. These are the newest amps from the AGD brand and they stole my heart indeed, as well as my bank account. There was no way, no way I could go back to any other power amps after hearing and experiencing these..

Oh and to the person who complained about the fact that I was wearing my PJ pants, YES SIR I WAS! See, I believe we should be as happy as we can in life and I live without negativity, anger, hate, etc. I live to be comfortable and happy, noting more nothing less. Hell yes I wear PJ's on most days, after my shower. Why? My wife an I live very remote and are home 98% of the time. Why on earth would I wear dress pants to unbox an amp in my own listening room. I'm just a guy, not a business man. I'm like you guys, a crazy audio nut. Maybe I will do my next video in my full PJ's ; )

Have you tried any other preamps with the duets, like pass xp22? Curious if the agd preamp is still the best option.

I wish you still got the Dynaudio Heritage Special speaker. They are a no go with class D and tube amplifiers.

Great review! I purchased my AGD tempo 3 years ago when it was first released. Very, very clean sound, not sterile or analytical.

I have the Audions. Mine were manhandled by customs inspection so I had to polish them. They polished up just fine using a small mechanical polisher and Flitz metal polish.

Owning agd solos, I agree with your review. Great amps, bring more flesh to the music bone. Incredible, better than any class ab amps I have managed to ear.

Class D matured a lot. You have the Aavik u-150. Try the u-180 or the higher tiers of Aavik. The U-180 outpreforms the u-150. how would this compare to these AGD Duet?

Was your review and comments based on using them with your Puritan 156? In other words, were they plugged directly into the 156?
