I have severe anxiety. I always have. So when I first being serious and determined to read and pray every day, satan was NOT happy about that and started making me afraid to read and pray because when I asked questions, it seemed like I was always finding the answers I didn't want to hear every single time. Some of that was true, but the majority of it was me taking things out of context in desperation to resolve things NOW and then being miserable when the answer was hard to take. He used my anxiety to give me a false sense of urgency and fear of what I might find. I've always been insecure but I try my best to do the right thing every time and do my best for the people around me. So he pushed me to jump to conclusions and feel like I was doing everything wrong. After much time, practice and patience, I'm closer than I think I've ever been. You have to stay in it until satan can't handle being in your head anymore. "My prayer is that when I die, all of hell rejoices that I am out of the fight." -CS Lewis
