3 years ago I decided to sign up for a marathon. Little did I know I would continue the journey and eventually compete in an Ironman event. It was one of the best decisions I have made in life. The journey continues each day. Follow along for more stories.

Wow. Your whole journey has been go big or go home! From 0- marathon and then IronMan. No small races just the big ones! Love it.

Well done, Chris. I just love your cinematography on your videos. As you know, I just ran my first full marathon in OKC last weekend at the age of 68. I am scheduled to run Tulsa Route 66 the weekend before Thanksgiving. My story is similar to yours. The birth of my grandson motivated me to get off the couch and start exercising. You are an inspiration. This next year I want to tackle a triathlon. Just not a 70.3 yet. I will attempt a Sprint first. Then we will see what happens. Again, congratulations on your accomplishment.

Great video! Nicely edited and inspirational. These videos keep me going when I doubt myself. I quit drinking 3 years ago. Just started running a year ago. Did one sprint Tri in August and signed up for a full Ironman this September lol. Swimming will be the make or break. I can't figure it out. But I will.

Super cool and inspiring...so I don't mean to be condescending or anything, but since this was a half IM, then would someone call themselves an Ironman after a half distance though? I mean it's still impressive, but what about those who do a full distance?
