To me, the strings in this full version represent the loss of Mei's friends, and her resolve to carry on and finish what they started. Of course, it's a good thing that they didn't have them in the game's version of this track, sensitive/emotional people like myself would cry every time the game loaded up this map 😭😭.

I've been waiting for this release, ever since the map's trailer launched!
Though I will say, I was hoping for at least a small part in this full version to be like the part from the trailer, where there are no strings & just that part with the deep bass.

honestly i like how the full and the in game/trailer versions are different. When you visit the map in game its just a desolate frozen facility, and the in game theme feels more like a distant or fading memory of this one, yet both versions still maintain that feeling of hopefully looking towards the future. both versions get me emotional every time though 😢
