In this episode of my Ultimate general Civil War Strategy guide for the Confederate campaign I tackle our first major battle. The 1st battle of Bull Run or Manassas. I show you my strategy for beating back the Union army and holding the bridge at all costs. This strategy shows the best use of Cavalry, skirmishers and main army flanking techniques.

This is a fun series. I like the editing and the focus on ideas and strategies.
Just a couple of thought: (1) It is always a good idea to capture supply wagons, they give you cash. That wagon was probably worth 3-5k. (2) Catching the enemy in water or on a bridge is always better than catching them in any other location. Enemy units have zero cover on bridges or in water, plus units on a bridge seem to always take flanking fire.

Well that was interesting. Never seen Griffin go that far east ahead of the rest of the army. The AI not pushing the middle ford or the bridge from behind seems to be pretty rare and I've never seen Sherman and Keyes going that far south myself.
