If he had bonded a spren and also had live shardplate, and he dies, do those shards stay on Roshar, as in the Requience?

I don't remember what shallan's wider family was up to while she was killing them. Were they basically opposing the Sons of Honor? Given the major plot point that was kaladin and shallan's relationship relative to her brother's death, I doubt it'll come back up. But that would be an interesting late character challenge to shallan! Especially if they're on opposite sides.

We know that the "dead" spren cause shardblades and shardplate to look the same, but what about bonded spren? Could someone have used their bonded spren to look like the blade he had?
