When my son was still alive, he shared my taste in music. We were listening to someone playing acoustical guitars and I said I loved when you could hear their fingers squeaking on the strings because it just seemed to be more real, and he laughed and said "Yeah, like being there with them." When Lex said she liked the sound, my heart burst. He was about Brad and Lex's age when he died. I love them even more now.

ELP is great. Also "You Still Turn Me On" and "Lucky Man" are good.

Greg was a superb bassist, but he really was proud of his singing ability. His tone/timbre is smooth as it gets.

The moog synthesizer is a perfect fit. A mellow classic evoking a slow toke.

This group absolutely deserves some 1970s live concert watches and reactions! They were an incredible group of professional musicians! Prog rock at it’s finest.❤️👏

You have a gem there, Brad. The way her mind works is not just amusing it is accurate. Lex's brain is quite reminiscent of how Jimi Hendrix said that he simply played the colors that he imagined.

Nice catch, Lex! The sound you like is that of fingers moving along the strings of an acoustic guitar.

One of THE defining FM radio rock songs of the 70s. A song that helped FM begin to take over from AM and a track that, if you were around for it back in the day, you never forgot. Also one of the songs that began to help ELP break big in America. Nice choice.

That's a jam! So deep! So easy. So smooth! You get nothing like this now... Nothing! Yeah, they both can't hold back their smiles and happiness. Good music is Good music Always!

Their music can be wild to such as "Tarkus".

That little bit of string noise makes the guitar sound more human. Great mellow song. Brilliant progressive rock. Needs a deeper dive into their music.

The first few notes make me think of Roundabout by YES, but then the real song kicks in, and those thoughts disappear. Greg Lake on the guitar and vocals made this song his own. Saw ELP live once, this song was a definitely highlight of the show. From The Beginning... .

The clarity and fidelity of this recording still blows me away.

The very talented Greg Lake wrote this song, sang it, and played the acoustic guitar.
