The Green Roof

Our green roof spans nearly 7 acres, the largest of its kind in New York State, and is made up of sedum, a low-lying rock plant that can absorb up to 7 million gallons of stormwater each year. The green roof helps to reduce energy costs throughout the year while serving as a home to thousands of birds, bats and bees, making it an unconventional oasis in the heart of New York City.
