References (scenes I replicated by watching them):

-Nanatsu no Taizai: I really wanted to make Asgore more dynamic by being more athetic with his trident. Problem was I had no idea how to animate it, the scene where Meliodas twirls to send back a spear was so powerful, it was exactly was I was lookimg for. Of course trying to fit asgore amd his weapon was a challange, but thanks to that I was able to learn how he'd look like from all angles.

-Violet Evergarden: This show is SO good at conveying emotion, it's one of my favorite anime of all time. The scene where Ronan is tellimg Undyne to leave him and he cries was referenced from the scene where rhe commamder tells Violet to leave him, same situation, same feeling. That absolute selflessness to sacrifice your life for those you love. Fantastic anime I recommemd it a lot. It's on Netflix! Go watch it!

The scene where all kids are perishing and the sounds of the screams right after as hearts and the music, oh god it actually made me tear up and just. Wow. That shit is genuinely saddening and made amazingly.
