During the fight with Ganondorf, the real reason you're struggling with the parry is because you can't do it with your shield up. The rest of the game you didn't really block, so you never actually learned that.

Your question about the timeline at the end... the Master Sword, Triforce, and Ganon are gone after the Wind Waker (on this timeline). According to Hyrule Historia and the devs, the curtain closes for those elements after this game. The two other games after Wind Waker do not have Ganon. Spirit Tracks has a new Demon King, Malladus.

One of my favorite things in the entire game is the stained glass windows of the Sages from Ocarina of Time: Rauru the Hylian, Saria the Kokiri, Darunia the Goron, Ruto the Zora, Impa the Sheikah, and Nabooru the Gerudo. I will never forget gasping as a teen when I saw them for the first time. It felt so special and Ocarina is my favorite game so it meant so much.

Tetra is definitely one of my favorite versions of Zelda. She has so much personality and actively plays a part in the game's story in the beginning. Most of the time she's more of a passive side NPC in the other games. Even in Skyward Sword she didn't feel as fleshed out as she does in this game somehow? Maybe it's because of the type of personality that she has in this game that makes her stand out so much. I never thought I would love this game as much as I did when I first played it. The artstyle was just so different when I first saw it that I didn't have much expectations to it. But it's actually one of my favorites along with Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess.

I think the moments that lead into the FINAL final fight is so fucking funny because Ganondorf stands there, calm and collected, discussing his home like you're supposed to conclude whatever he would do with the Triforce and feel maybe the tiniest bit sorry, then with cartoonishly exaggerated expression and movement, SUCKER PUNCHES a CHILD.

If you ever want to play the direct sequel to WW, I highly, highly, _highly_ recommend Phantom Hourglass. I know there's one aspect/temple that's the most frustrating and nerve-wracking part, but PH is such an underrated gem and it has _incredible_ mechanics. If you're able to do the whole game without a guide I'd love to see it! There's a few fun tricks to it all, but it's so good. Also, I understand if you're unwilling to since it's on the DS (3DS? i think?) but if you ever feel up for it, go for it!
