I feel like this is fear-mongering wrapped into a pretty and polite package; life throws us challenges and it's simply too precious and too short not to love and be loved. We are pack animals designed to thrive having important connections & so naturally we are drawn to create a new pack. Humans don't do well in isolation & therefore neither do kids. Parents are the lifeline of children & our needs MATTER. Finding a well balanced individual to pair off with can be the best decision you ever make. Learn to stand on your own two feet and give your kids everything you've got; but YOU matter TOO. If you are being abused & wondering if you'll mess up your kids and be lonely forever & afraid to leave... LEAVE. It's temporarily the pits & the hardest decision you might ever have to make, but it's harder being abused for another decade & living like an empty shell in a human-suit. My Mother remarried a man who became a Father figure in my life & added stability to our lives for 30 years & counting. My new partner is the best man I have ever met and doing the same for my daughter.

Hi my ex partner has moved on with another women and they are moving in a couple of months and the my ex partner girl friend is ready to meet my son . This is a new s situation for me and my ex partner does not communicate with me in any way does not want to talk to me but he wants her to meet my son what shall I do . can you give me any advice please it’s making it really difficult for me make that decision when she should meet my son I feel there is no respect there on the ex partner side he just talks to like a piece crap when he does talk me.
