mrhelperguy, Can you backup and tell me how to remove a very old rusted lamp from the post? I have a grinder and drill. I'm considering using the grinder to cut off the screw heads then drill out the remainder of the screw. But, then since the lamp post has been painted at least twice over the years I'm afraid the cap is still going to be adhered to the post.

Never ever under any circumstance cut the wire towards your hand. Hold the wire in place and then cut towards the ground away from your

I couldn't understand a word. And he didn't explain what he was doing. Also, his hand often blocked (from the camera( what the other hand was doing so I couldn't follow his procedure. It would be helpful if he used an external microphone and thought about the view he was creating for the video watcher. Thanks for trying. Please consider reposting with these comments in mind.
