If you’re looking for an upgrade that’ll boost your Chevrolet Silverado 1500’s overall performance and looks, K&N’s Blackhawk Cold Air Intake fits the bill. This affordable system offers up to +12.80 horsepower and +24.80 pound-foot of torque, giving your truck the power it needs to command the streets. Plus, its open-element design is paired with a black, murdered-out look to deliver an aggressive vehicle styling.

No Tuning Required. K&N’s Blackhawk Cold Air Intake is tested and designed to meet all of your vehicle’s needs. As such, it doesn’t require any tuning after the install.

Layered Oil-Free Filter. Thanks to the air filter’s non-woven synthetic, oil-free construction, it’s capable of preventing dust, dirt, and other particles from harming your engine. Being able to feed a cooler, cleaner airflow into the engine also results in better performance and an increase in service life.

Boasts a Highly Durable Construction. Made with a high-quality steel intake pipe, the Blackhawk system has the durability to keep up with your truck’s heavy-duty applications. The intake pipe is also covered by a black finish, which further fortifies its structure, as well as protects it from rust and corrosion. Additionally, it utilizes a superior quality heat shield to shields the air filter from engine bay heat.

Simple Installation Procedure. This cold air intake comes complete with all its necessary hardware. It’s also made to be bolted onto your vehicle. As a result, installing it requires the use of basic hand tools. The task will also take no more than an hour to complete.

K&N’s 1,000,000-Mile/10-Year Warranty Is Included. Every Blackhawk Cold Air Intake sold includes a 1,000,000-mile/10-year warranty. If you want to learn more about the warranty’s terms and conditions, please refer to K&N’s website or contact customer support.

Available for All States Except Those Adopting CARB Standards. The Blackhawk Cold Air Intake does not have a CARB EO number.

Ok ya did a good job but you forgot the two small hose clamps that go on the breather tubes . No biggie your video was a great help. Thus you still got a thumbs up. 👍🏼

Fantastic, detailed video. I've been thinking of replacing the factory box with a K&N cold air intake kit on a 2020 Silverado with the 5.3 engine. Do you know if this change will void any remaining covered warranty? Extended warranty runs for another 3yr/30K.

GMC dealer states to use a dry filter to prevent MAF sensor issues. Oiled filters cause the sensor to gum up over time and can actually have a very negative effect on performance!

Is it detrimental to disconnect the negative cable from the battery?
