I think most of us thought the same thing upon being here at first. Why does he have the wrong appearance/model? Were they trying to say that all this time, Shin was Jo? I highly doubt it, because there wasn't even a hint of acknowledgement towards that, just nothing at all. I'd think they'd at least try if that was the case. So then did they really just goof and forget how Jo is supposed to look? I don't know. This fight is meant to be unwinnable when you play on your first playthrough, but with NG+ allowing you to carry over your abilities, it's pretty easy winning it. But here's the disappointing part, I can get past that the outcome after the fight doesn't change even slightly, but there should've been a unique reward to beating this fight. I think something that would've been perfect is Amon's Glasses and they'd have huge overall stat buffs, so a direct upgrade over Eye of the Dragon. I think there should've also been an extra gimmick or two particularly when you fight him on NG+. It's really a shame because NG+ is something you have to pay for this time, and they couldn't do even that.

What I think is mindblowing here isn't the fact that Jo Amon shows up in the main story, nor the fact that he uses Shin's model (for no reason too), or neither the fact that he's the one to "give" Kiryu the Dragon's Resurgence...



no, the thing I think is totally mindblowing is that this particularly fight is AFTER Date tells Kiryu that he called some people to discuss about or meet Kiryu (under a fake identity of course)... so this means that, at some point, Date knew about the Amon clan's affairs with Kiryu and CALLED Jo to tell him that Kiryu is not actually dead. Date isn't just one of the men, he's The Man

Like, i'm fine with him appearing in the main story and the fight afterwards is really cool.

But why they reuse shin design for Jo and expect us to not ask questions?

Why his boss fight afterwards doesn't feature this Banger of Fierciest Warrior Remix?

Like, it kind of drags down this interaction a bit because you keep these questions in your mind. Idk, i just think they kinda forgot to polish Amon in this game.

So funny thing, I was over leveling, having fun with fights, so when I fought him on the default difficulty, I actually beat him before resurgance unlocked, and man, that was the one fight that taught me how good buff items and the war god talismans were

Infinite Wealth's story gives me the Far Cry 5 vibes because of Palekana group.

Not only did they use the wrong model but also didn't make anything special if you won against him just "nope, you lost". Not to mention his dungeon fight lacks the music and it's replaced with generic dungeon boss theme.

They made Amon dirty in this game. I hope they compensate with some Amon gauntlet DLC maybe.

I think of this as the true amon of the game, as the other fight doesnt even have a unique theme. So that basically means amon is ng+ unless you grind A LOT
