We're back in the world of Europa Universalis IV, playing with the new Emperor expansion! "On the Rhodes Again" is an achievement that requires you to play as the Knights Hospitaller and conquer Constantinople, Antioch, and Jerusalem. No small feat for the tiny island of Rhodes, especially when surrounded by the powerful Ottoman Turks! Yet somehow, by the grace of God, we're going to restore the Kingdom of Heaven!

I was interested in this video because the Knights of Saint John or Knights of Hospitaller use to control my country! i live in malta a very small place also we won a war against the ottamans in real life so i believe you can too!

I'd actually be tempted, in this position, to see if Venice and Albania would support a war against the Ottomans right now. With Constantinople in your hands and the other strait, whatever it is called now, in rebel hands you might be able to block the bulk of their troops from reinforcing the Balkans if you can use the combined power of Venice's and your fleets to blockade the Bosphorus. Doing that might weaken the Ottomans enough to keep them in check and open up the Balkans for reasonable expansion for you. The risk being that the Mamluks night take the opportunity to rag on them and tip the balance of power in the Levant and Anatolia in their favour.

My man... ALWAYS core into states. Never leave territories. The way autonomy works is it goes to whatever it was when it was conquered after you state it. With a huge dev province like Constantinople it's very worth it, especially as it's still giving you all the maluses it would as a state.

You can expand towards Candar and skip to Trebizond from there.

Honestly, if the rebels were in positive siege chance in Galipoli/Gelibolu I'd look for a merc with siege pips, merc up and declare on the ottos right there. With their forces in Anatolia, a quick siege of Galipoli/Gelibolu would be equal to an auto win, since you pretty much have the naval superiority in the Bosporus strait.
Imo, you have to strike on Ottos fast and break them, otherwise they become too strong and defensive alliances with the AI are extremely unreliable to rely on them for survival.
Keep it up, the Knights seem very fun to play as, so far.
Edit: it happened twice. Such great chances for a quick war.

Awesome campaign! I'm loving it so far! You might want to consider expanding into Tunis. It looks like they are currently getting the bad end of a war and should be pretty easy to take on. Also, taking the coast from them would save you the devastation caused by their pirate raids. Although taking their land would further tank your religious unity, you could release Tripoli as a vassal and use that for some extra force limit, units, and income.

The policies with the Estates that give you monarch points lower their loyalty equilibrium. I normally don't enact those policies until i have a large percentage of crown land

I know I’m late to the party but if you build a flagship for 100 gold you can select the trade power for fleets option and it will really help with trade power as it gives your galleys and transports 1 point of trade power each.
