Planning on bugging in since we moved to our bug out location a year ago. Rainwater will be my go to then a fresh water spring, if those fail we have a nice flowing river 1/4 miles from our cabin. Water filters are a must have. As well as a way to store water.

You should do a video on how to purify water using the sun. Like the hole in the ground method, bag around tree leaves, using sunlight, etc. If someone is stranded with absolutely nothing. Or a video on where are good places to look for water in SHTF like hot water heaters etc. May make a good video for some people.

Great topic! Very important knowledge for sure. Military field guides are a good idea too; to learn to how to filter and boil water if you have no filters or purification tablets etc.

As a technical liberal (someone who believes the “state” has a place to secure our country and provide for the needs of those citizens who are at the tipping point of endangerment) I am glad you express your opinions and absolutely support that! The people you thought were your friends, should remember they MUST take the time to listen to the other side. Their attitude is exactly why our times are not working. I’m not a huge fan of Trump, but I think this is a reset. I hope ALL of us come out the other end better people and especially the young people, learn from the media hype and learn to learn and reason. They are our future!

The EXACT same thing happened with my brother and I on Facebook.. we were having a long conversation about our differing views (he is Liberal, I am Conservative) when out of the blue he says he never wants to hear from me again.. That was fine with me, so I said "buh-bye" .. Have not spoken to him again and I never will.. I still have the thread on facebook so the rest of the family can see how he is..
