So the bus costs 2.5 cr and per person it charges 3000 on avg, hence the bus can make a revenue around 1, 20, 000 single sided with diesel cost around 40k and maintenance per ride 3k and water bottles and driver toll and conductor expenses around 10k still bus manages to save 65, 000 per trip on average, and 120, 000 per round trip, and if we assume the bus does 20 round trips in a month it will make around 20 lakh inr, and keeping this figure it can be outrun it's cost of 2.5 cr within an year or so if on a busy or demanding route.
