Lighting a match in front of my homemade 'light microphone'. It consists of two photodiodes and a simple amplifier circuit. What you're hearing is not the physical sound from the match, but the light from the flame that is converted to sound. The flame sounds like white noise, with some pops, crackles and squeaks #shorts
