Doctor my mom is 82 years old. She has been cutting hair for 50 years. She's retired now because of the pain otherwise she would still be working. So we have an 82-year-old woman taking a narcotic four times a day for the pain because it's so bad. There is a lot of wear and tear she has been dealing with. They tried this new procedure or they said it's kind of new. Where they stick some wires in her spinal area, so it vibrates and tells the brain to block the pain. It was a three-day trial. They said it has a 90% of patients from evaluations. So when they put those wires in her spinal area they didn't use any anesthesia any lidocaine nothing. Straight pain!! I heard her from the other room screaming. So 3 Days Later. Comes to find out, they said it doesn't work for her because she's not supposed to be feeling the vibration in her spinal area. I am assuming you know that treatment that I'm talking about? I did my own google/investigation and it did have a good rating. But it didn't work for my mom. So she went to a neurologist and he looked at her images and it shows that she has a bunch of discs out of line, or out of place. And that could be causing her the severe pain. Since covid we have had three different opinions on why her pain is so bad nobody can pinpoint it. So today is October 10th. She was prescribed a medicine called Galveston, I believe is the name. He prescribed her to take it UP to 3 times a day, or as needed. The first day she was dizzy, I said it's one of the side effects. & if she feels dizzy after the 3rd day I was going to contact the DR. SO I was pleased that the dizziness went away and her pain has gone down a from a 10 to a 6, 7, 8 at times. When I tell you the pain has been so bad she has gone to the hospital several times, she has 10 different doctors, but ever since taking this Galveston, I call it Gabby. It has been helping a little bit. I just asked her what is her pain from 1 to 10. She said it's a 5 today. It brought tears to my eyes. And what I am hoping is she still hasn't had the full course of this medicine so hopefully that pain can go down to a three. My mom is so strong and tough that she had been dealing with this pain for years. She wasn't living a life with that pain. So we keep praying to God that this medicine will will and stay consistent for her. Great video
