In this video, I show you how to stop your Bluetooth receiver from automatically turning on when your computer turns on in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. This is something that can save a little battery life for you.

This did not work using Gallium OS (based on 16.04) - do you have any ideas what might be causing the problem? Thanks for the video anyway, probably a Gallium bug.

I remember these tricks working a few months ago but now it's not viable, however, I finally did find a way. Just type this in your terminal:
sudo systemctl disable bluetooth.service
then restart. it would be disabled
