I own this guitar and it's definitely beaten up a bit from age and misuse, but it works beautifully as a entry-level to beginner guitar. And yes, you can do the Avicii intro with it; it's a guitar, isn't it? haha

any guitar is subject to the environment. However, the Yamaha C40 is a great beginner to intermediate guitar. I would recommend that you don't leave it out in the cold. :)

I don't agree on the part that it sounds like a more expensive guitar. This is a well made and decent guitar for its price. Ideal for beginners but honestly the tone is acceptable. I won't say that the sound is really good. I have one. Good for practice and to bring around because it is super light.
