I've played trumpet from ages 11-25. Was in my citys local jazz band. Had to quit to start working on my career/family. I'm 32 now and I bought a Borg about a year ago and have been too anxious to play it knowing I won't be as good as I used to be and realizing that I can still read it but the majority of fingerings I've forgotten. But hearing that Runescape song of all things made me want to pick it up and see if I could squeak somthing out.

Fun fact about the Mortal Kombat song - it actually didn't debut in the games but was used for the TV advertisements for the home console release. That ad was so impactful, and the song was used so smartly in the movie, that it accidentally became the "MK Theme".

Fun fact the Mortal Kombat theme was not in the original game but instead made for a complimentary soundtrack then used in the first live action film but became such a banger that it became associated with the franchise and it's only two official in game uses have been a remixed version that appears in the Sega CD version of the first game and a brief saxophone cover in Jax's friendship in MK11U.

Actually, the so called tetris theme (which's actual name is Korobeiniki) is the theme A of gameboy tetris (1989), tetris was made in 1984 by Aleksey Pazhitnov on an elektronika 60, so it had no music, but korobeiniki is the iconic theme so it fits better than random beeps 🤣🤣
