What's better is that, as trib proved, you don't actually need power strength to help in nuking rooms with Qorvex, it's better to mod for range

As an absolute armor tank addict myself (and a little bit sad Valkyr Prime lost her crown), for more passive tanking I do recommend triple Umbra for the boosted synergy (health and armor also going up significantly) and the Mecha set. What's better than 1 chonky unit? 2 chonky units! A kubrow linking the same chonky stats, with a free insane armor buffing proc thanks to Mecha Pulse, providing all the good stuff back (and buffing itself even more). I'm talking about on average +7000 armor with 90% uptime.

Abilities... lol, who needs them :P

I did a simliar thing to qorvex but with rage and hunter adrenaline. The build I use has 5 normal blue shards with health regen paired with arcane grace. Alongside this I put on gladiator finesse and quick thinking. I am literally unable to die because i get so much energy by taking so much damage and constantly regenerating health via the archon shards and arcane grace. Nice to know someone made something similar!

Qorvex is also a fantastic ability-spamming machine. Xata Invocation and Equilibrium with a Dethcube setup keeps his big ol’ nuclear battery fully charged at all times and ready for action.

I use qorvex for my sporothrix/zymos build, arcane grace and arcane avenger with my flat damage kavat. Great weapons platform, use combat discipline to force procs on arcanes for infinite health and crits while nuking. So much damage and all my shards will be primary elec damage so i just have an elec proc gauss cannon with 11x+ crit damage. Use ensnare to freely make any enemy into a zymos homing missile silo.

Glad to see others finding he's the best weapons platform, at least for raw weapons not doing whacky things to them.

I enjoy tanking as Qorvex, super funny and I love seeing someone else doing it. I will say I tend to commit a bit less modding tankiness for power strength and toss on arcane blessing instead, but similar idea.

This is a beautiful build. I love this Frame, but the only tanking I've been doing with him is a regular maxed out Steel Fiber and maxed out Arcane Ultimatum (thanks to the Arcane Dissolution system). So I'm gonna steal parts of your build to make him better. 😄 Thanks!

Strictly speaking, you don't even need Qorvex. It'd basically be functionally identical on LAvos, Grendel, Vakyr, Caliban, Atlas, Frost, and Wukong. And even Inaros and Kullervo (take out the catalyzing shields for Amars hatred or whatever though)

(Valkyr might need to be Valkyr Prime, she's kind of on the edge of not having the health pool for it)

Hmmmm. I also thought that it would be a waste to not use the new best armour in the game, but I didn't go quite that hard.

But.... I'm up 267 forma from plague star, and it would be a shame to let this double affinity not get used. And I like the azothane but don't really use it, and the magnetic vortex thing sounds fun. You've given me a new set of goals for today. :D

Hummmm, I think we can make it even tankier(maybe gloom, silence, shooting gallery or null star) than this, with archon shards(health regen maybe via blue shards and green shards if using toxin). Shield Gating can be probably be dropped, plus with healing coming from the helminth option we can run arcane blessing or guardian.
Mecha pulse also seens kinda cool in this set-up
