I was bored, so I made a video. :-)

Answers to the most common FAQs:

- DeeDee is a greyhound. Yes, she's a retired racer. Yes, she's a real service dog.
- DeeDee is classified as a mobility assistance dog. Primary tasks include but are not limited to balance assistance, retrieval of dropped/low objects, opening/closing doors, flipping light switches, finding and retrieving my phone in case of an emergency, and much, much more.
- I choose to keep my personal medical information private on Youtube. Please do not ask for more information about what's wrong with me.
- No, greyhounds aren't hyper (quite the opposite in fact!). I was being sarcastic. ;-)

We have fallen in love with DeeDee and I have been inspired to train my retired greyhound to help my mum who was diagnosed with MS a few years ago

Aww, thanks! My health condition is very similar to progressive MS, so many of DeeDee's tasks would be helpful to someone in that situation. Best of luck training your grey! Just remember, in training, slow is fast, and big steps are made of small ones. :-)

Thanks Brooke :) I'll remember that!! I hope to get a video up of my beautiful girl, who funnily enough has the same face shape and emotive expressions as DeeDee, soon :) Her name is Nicki and she is 11 years old :) the only difference between herself and DeeDee is that Nicki is covered in brindle patches :)
