Before you exit the shower or tub, rinse any soap off of everything, then dry the fixtures with a microfiber cloth. Water left on surfaces will evaporate and leave behind calcium, iron and other minerals that will etch the metal surfaces. Always dry all fixtures including those on the sinks and you will never have to scrub them again.

We never used the fine wool in base housing, but we always used baby oil. It made all baths look like we had cleaned for hours.

Added the steel wool pads to my shopping cart before the video was over! Thank you endlessly for these tips. I look forward to finding out what you are doing now, in 2023.

I am seriously impressed with this trick. I have 5 holiday studios that I rent out, so you can imagine how much steel I have to contend with when cleaning. THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!!

SOS pads are the bomb, especially on stubborn hard water stains on textured glass shower doors & faucets. I've not used another product since them!

I've been using a generic brand magic eraser sponge for bathroom and kitchen chrome. That thing works like a miracle.

I use a magic eraser sponge and bars keepers. It will be much easier if its wet with hot water. I must clean bathrooms in 15 minutes or less, wetting activates cleaners.

This is good tip. I also use vinegar sprayed on and soaked, and an eraser sponge. Works great!

I've used powder cleanser my whole life & it gets your chrome faucets sparkling clean: for example Ajax or Comet cleanser, etc. Just use a wet wash cloth, sprinkle the cleanser on the faucets or on the cloth, & scour the faucets a bit, then rinse, & dry with towel. There's NO waiting for some chemical to work. If someone says they'll be right over u can clean your faucets in a jiffy. Works instantly like magic.

Totally using steel wool now. Baby oil is nice but what smells even better is Avon's Skin So Soft Original bath oil. I suppose any great smelling bath oil would work too.

Hi Beautiful! I love your cleaning tips. I clean too! *I wish I could message you directly! I am not sure if anyone has shared this...I looked through most of the comments but didn't see this. I just wanted to warn viewers that this is AN AMAZING IDEA! Mind blowing really! But long term, is like using pumice stone in the toilets. Yes, even the 0000 steel wool pads actually lightly scratch steel and porcelain surfaces. Which short term wouldn't be a problem. Long term, unfortunately it will make it easier to rust and stain. I am sorry! Just quick tip...Pumice stone in the toilets scratch the enamel off and score the toilets as well causing stains and bacteria to grow! If you don't care long term...it doesn't matter! 💕

I’ve been cleaning professionally for about three years and I’ve perfected cleaning these things I make them look brand-new all I use is a little bit of pink stuff or scrub daddy power paste scrub daddy nonabrasive scrubber. If there really bad I use an SOS pad And then to make them nice and shiny I use stainless steel polish.

Have used OOO before back when cars used to have chrome on them. Worked like a charm! Going to try this.

Thank you! I have been using baby oil after cleaning off my chrome faucets for years off and on. Does work but can also leave streaks. I sometimes think it’s more work. Have to re-apply more than I thought.

A mix of equal parts of water, peroxide, rubbing alcohol, dishwasher rinse, in a spray bottle. Works like a charm.

I am going to try this in etched drinking glasses!
