Samson? A god, Womanizer, Patriot, Christian, Nazarite, Prodigy, Judge, Leader, or A Mirror?

The World needs a Samson again. Will it be you? Will it be me? Will it be I and I (you and me)? The Bible contains this Memorable Story for a reason. The question is why did God permit this epic figure to be included in the Chronicles of History and Life (aka The Bible)? There are so many lessons to be learned from Samson and his brief time on this Earth among the living. He presently “sleeps” with his fathers…so we can rule out “a god.” What about the rest of the labels placed on him throughout the ages? The Bible and Spirit of Prophecy via Ellen G. White’s writings shed some interesting light on his birth, upbringing, rise and fall, repentance, and Victories. One thing I have learned, as so many others do too, is that in many ways we owe him an apology. Another is that our physical strength or witty intellect alone are not enough when placed side by side to Obedience to The One True God.
