Feeding the cows in an Oklahoma Snowstorm!

Two straight weeks of below freezing and wind chills close to -20 are not fun for feeding cows! The wind and snow are blowing, the tractor has issues and the water is frozen, but the chores have to be done.

We retired from our small farm and are only doing vegetables now - we don't miss going out on freezing days to feed animals.. but we do miss the animals :)

My son and his wife live in Owasso, Oklahoma. His wife is from Oklahoma and he is from North Iowa. He is used to much colder winters than this! But she is not. He called home and asked for me to send his winter gear!

Your herd is beautiful in the snow. Wow, that is not good and I’m sure not convenient. Nice to have that wheel on the gate. That snow on them looks brutal.

Enjoyed the video. Stay warm this week. Looks like it's going to be pretty chilly.

I just found your channel and subscribed today. I was looking for a farm in Pleasureville Kentucky, which we live in Murray Kentucky, that you can visit to see these beautiful Highland Cattle. This is your third video of yours I've watched and "Liked".😉 🤗

How many head of highland do you have now. I like all your videos. watched since you went from regular cows to the exotic Scottish Highlands.
Thanks for the great info. Highlands looks like they are home ground now with the snow. I first saw one on the show (Alaska Last Frontier). Thanks for the info again.
