Is it NOW or NEVER to buy a 2022 Toyota Avalon Hybrid?

The Avalon is in its final year of production from Toyota. On the outside of the limited trim you will find unique wheels, LED lighting and sunroof. On the inside you will be greeted to a full leather interior, wood grain trim, and 9in infotainment system. Under the hood is a 2.5L inline-4 paired to an electric motor to get you 44 combined MPGs. Is it NOW or NEVER to buy a 2022 Toyota Avalon Hybrid?

One of the most underrated unappreciated sedans ever…. Bulletproof reliability and Closest you’ll get to a Lexus with a Toyota Badge. Sad to see it go 😞

Yep it's a Lexus and the mileage is super for big car like that. Value - dependable - great comfort. 👍

Just bought a 2019 XLE with 27, 000 miles on it and I consistently getting 50 mpg during highway driving. Very happy with the ride quality as well.

The Avalon has always been a mystery car to me. You see it and don't see it. I always thought Toyota was trying to sneak in another luxury model. Good video Joe 💯👍🏻

When the Avalon came on the market, I felt it was impressive from the outset. Simple styling, advanced luxury features typically found on a Lexus only for a much lower price. I have always been impressed by the Avalon. Only the 2005-12 series doesn't capture my attention, but I would still buy it.

When Toyota failed to introduce the current generation as a cross, then they neglected to promote this car the way they should have, and giving it the same platform as the Lexus ES, starting in 2013, I knew this jewel of a car's days were numbered. I just wish I was able to scoop one up new, before being cancelled. Oh, and I hope Camry can fill its shoes, because there's a huge difference in quality between the two.

Thanks again Joe, for another knockout review.

I got a used (12k Miles) 2021 XSE for 41k with the upgraded JBL Package, Light up Avalon badge on the doors, all weather mats, and carbon fiber accents on the inside (instead of the wood). I get about 475 on a full tank, which at the moment is about 55 to 60 bucks depending on the horrible economy lol. This is THE best car, I have ever owned in my entire life. Got lucky with the color as well, full pearl with black 19" rims and black tail. The only thing I wish this XSE version had, would be the cooled seats, not just heated seats. Either way! I can't ever see myself driving another car that feels this smooth to drive and saves so much on gas! I hope it lasts me for an eternity (prob will since it's a toyota <3) Can't say enough about this car... I love it!

I have no other choice to buy this amazing Toyota Avalon Hybrid sedan now. Overall, fantastic job and review Joe.

The Avalon looks so much better in person. It is an elegant car, and has lots of room. I don't think they marketed it that well. and it does blur the boundary with Lexus. I guess they are bringing in the Crown for the people who want a larger vehicle.

i actually like this car better than the camry coz it’s more comfortable and better ride quality. wish they could redesign like the toyota crown instead stopping the production, as the crown is gonna launch in japan sooner or later ..

I love this car, I just wish it had that updated infotainment system and a panoramic sunroof as well. I think it looks so much better than the Lexus, especially interior wise. Sad to see them go!

Edit: I just looked at the ES 300h again, that interior is so dated and just doesn't look as luxurious as the Avalon.

I purchased my 2007 Avalon Touring in 2008, I've owned many many good cars over 53 years of driving Buicks, Olds, Chevy's Acura's but I have to say this car has been the best one.

I wish I had gotten this instead of a hybrid Camry

I own a 2021 Limited Hybrid. I love it. As a realtor, I love the luxury and the MPG. I also drive from Upstate NY to NYC, Chicago, Toronto, and DC on a very regular basis. It saves so much money and time.

I just switched from a 10 year old LS460 to an almost-new 2020 Limited Hybrid and your review and comparisons are spot on.

I've never seen your channel before and really enjoy your humor and presentation. Two thumbs up!

Had a 19’ (non-hybrid) Avalon w the V6 (which they might all come with), I absolutely loved it… the comfort, power and even handling was all right where I wanted it to be. Obv not a sports car but handled my lead foot quite well! 😋

Those type of grills are hell trying to clean. They are definitely the old school Buicks of Toyotas. I may trade up eventually but not soon. My '13 is a workhorse!

By adding a great sense of humor to your videos you improve the “watchability” by a factor of a hundred! Nice!

The Avalon is a good vehicle. Personally I would go TRD but there’s no 2022 TRD models so a 2021 model would have to be found. Thanks Joe for sharing probably your last Avalon review. Thanks to Steven for doing a great job also! Hope Lori’s ok. 👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸
