My niece loves this software. Easy enough for an 11 years old to understand! And powerful enough to create interesting props!

Magicavoxel is a pretty dope 3D modeling tool. I love it for what it's set to help us generate. I like using it in conjunction with Blender for my 3D modeling needs and environment creation.

so sad that frame animation was deleted from magicavoxel, need this feature for rpg in a box a lot.

One feature I wish it had was crop which is there in VoxEdit. It will shrink the box to fit the model. Helpful when your doing rigging for your voxel character.

Does it support Linux? If not could you advise any good alternative for Linux? Is there any good tutorials on working with voxels, that you could advise? Thanks!

You should review VoxelFarm Studio. It's not free but it's only 20$/yr and was basically being used for AAA games until it kind of fell out of the spotlight when Columbus Nova butchered EQN. I believe Crowfall is still using it.

I have been having trouble exporting from magica voxel in the past have it been fixed yet though?

Sadly it doesn't support Linux. I prefer Goxel. Goxel also supports the kvx format that is used by gzdoom.
