As a native German myself its so refreshing and uptlifting to see a beautifull and kind Immigrant which doesnt abuse or culture, appreciate our society and can live side by side in peace with each other. Thank you.

Milly, thank you for your warm Words. It feels like mind opening. You came from far away and you was open and interessted to explore this country. Even when it was very hard to learn language and culture, you talk about germany in this loving way. Thank you. As a german I am proud, that you found your place in the german society.

I am still astonished as a German what people from other nations consider even worth to mention. I mean, for us, it's day to day life. Hope you enjoy your time staying in Germany. ^^

Hi Milly,

Congrats to this nice video. It is interesting to see Germany through the eyes of an foreigner. Things like the public transportation, which is totally normal for us and I was really surprised, when I watched another video about it in the USA. Even they were fascinated by our system.

But there was one small thing, which is not 100% correct. If you live in the countryside, the ambulance will need longer than 5 minutes, I'll would guess it can take up to 30 minutes.

Last I would say, if everybody here in Germany would enjoy and celebrate the good things we have, like you do, and don't concentrate on the problems they see, refugees for example, it would be even better. But sadly hater and idiots exist all over the world.

If we all stand together, in our wealthy and safe (compared to many other Countries) country, it won't be a problem.

And at very last, a happy new year to you.

May seem random but I love the sound of your voice. It's so smooth. Great video btw! Thumbs up

PS it is an offence to most of the people riding a bike. They get like really angry when you walk on the bike lane

this was a very helpful video. My fiance and I intend to move to Germany in the next few years. One of the reasons we chose Germany was for the healthcare system and because I have a rare eye condition and there are surgeries that would be very beneficial to my eye condition that I can get in Germany that aren't available here in the US. So, I've been watching videos and reading everything I can about basic daily stuff about Germany to prepaid. And even though I've already learned so much I still learned a lot from you're video. :)

I am always surprised at things a new citizien would find extraordinary that seem so natural to me that I don't notice them anymore. Loved your video. I came here when I was 2 years old, have a German Mom though, so probably not the same :-)

Yet in Africa we are still waiting for light 24/7, clean water, good roads & markets, good schools hospitals. That's all a human being need. Govt in Africa should hear this, I hope Africans will demand this from their govt.

I've recently discovered your channel and I'm loving your content so far!
My husband to be and I, from the UK, will be moving to Germany (Düsseldorf) in August for a year and a half so I'm binge-watching these kinds of videos and doing as much research as I can!

Where abouts are you based? And do you like the city? Have you heard anything about Düsseldorf? And of any good international churches in the area by any chance? If anyone else who reads this comment can also answer, I would greatly appreciate it! :)

I love your kind warm spirit and wishing you peace and love for you and your family this year!
