Toyota RAV4 (2019-2025): How To Jack Up And Do Tire Rotation In The Toyota RAV4?
Показать описание
In this video, we will show how to jack up the 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 Toyota RAV4 and perform tire rotation.
On the All-Wheel Drive Toyota RAV4 with non-directional, uniform tires the rearward cross pattern is used. It means that the front wheels are moved to opposite sides of the rear axle, while the rear tires are moved to the forward axle. And kept on the same side of the vehicle. This will guarantee even wear and prolong the lifespan of your tires.
If your tires have arrows on the sidewall, this means that these tires are directional and can only be rotated from front to back or back to front on the same side of the vehicle.
Tire rotation should be done every 5000 miles or 8000km.
Wheel Lug Nut Torque - 76 ft-lbf.
Tools Used: 2 Ton Hydraulic Jack, 3 Ton Jack Stands, 21 mm Socket, 1/2-in Drive Torque Wrench, Wheel Blocks.
RECOMMENDED TOOLS:
After you have rotated the tires you will need to initialize the tire pressure warning system (if equipped).
For vehicles WITHOUT tire inflation pressure display function:
1. Park the vehicle in a safe place and stop the engine.
2. Adjust the tire inflation pressure to the specified cold tire inflation pressure level (Front - 35 psi, Rear - 35 psi). The tire pressure warning system will operate based on this pressure level.
3. Turn the engine switch to ON.
4. Go to "Vehicle Settings". Select “TPWS” in the vehicle settings. Select "Set Pressure". Then press and hold "OK" button.
5. “Setting Tire Pressure Warning System” will be displayed on the multi-information display and the tire pressure warning light will blink 3 times. When the message disappears, initialization is complete.
For vehicles WITH tire inflation pressure display function:
1. Park the vehicle in a safe place and stop the engine for 20 minutes or more.
2. Adjust the tire inflation pressure to the specified cold tire inflation pressure level (Front - 35 psi, Rear - 35 psi). The tire pressure warning system will operate based on this pressure level.
3. Start the engine.
A message is displayed on the multi-information display. Also, “--” is displayed for inflation pressure of each tire on the multi-information
display while the tire pressure warning system determines the position.
6. Drive the vehicle at approximately 25mph (40 km/h) or more for approximately 10 to 30 minutes.
When initialization is complete, the inflation pressure of each tire will be displayed on the multi-information display. Even if the vehicle is not driven at approximately 25 mph (40 km/h) or more, initialization can be completed by driving for a long time. However, if initialization does not complete after driving for 1 hour or more, park the vehicle in a safe place for approximately 20 minutes and then drive the vehicle again.
