Rangers go 3-0

The Kitchener Rangers had a big 3-0 week defeating Saginaw, Erie, and Guelph to move into a tie for seventh place with Sarnia. Joseph Serpa, Mitchell Martin and Francesco Pinelli each recorded six points in three wins. The Rangers now sit at 25 wins this season (25-26-2-2).

Johnston reaches 100 points

Wyatt Johnston became the first OHL player to reach 100 points this season as he recorded a hat trick on Saturday. Johnston is the first Spitfire to reach 100 since Ryan Ellis in the 2010-2011 season. Johnston recorded six points in four games last week as Windsor won their last three, climbing to within one point of first place in the Western Conference.

North Bay stays hot

North Bay’s run of consecutive wins swelled to seven on Sunday as the Troops won their 11th in a row at home. The Battalion feature four different players with at least 30 goals in Brandon Coe, Mitchell Russell, Matvey Petrov and Kyle McDonald. North Bay leads the Central Division with a 35-17-3-3 record, two points up on Mississauga.
