The female commentator says multiple times that the firefighters are in a "surround and drown" situation here, and that the FF's were in a
"Defensive Mode" and was totally wrong! She should brush-up on her knowledge of fire terminology!

There is absolutely no need to be on the roof at that point, it's completely vented. The Chief, or Incident Commander, should have their butt chewed off for leaving those guys up there so long. They're doing absolutely nothing but risking their lives for nothing at that point. Lucky they weren't all killed in a collapse.

to the news reporters, that is a 3 story building. it is more than 20 feet tall. which is why its 3 stories tall. look at the adjacent building next to it. get your facts in order.

I used to live down the street on 7th and Magnolia Ave. That building is a very old building.

Know the people that lived there. A guy had an altercation with the police for HOURS before he set this fire to the building. Two kitties and one dog died. Very sad

Guys, when the smoke turns from black to gray, the firefighters are getting a handle on things. White smoke is not smoke, it is steam, meaning that the fuel has been cooled to the point where burning can no longer occur. Just thought yall should know, for your listeners to know that progress is being made.

I don't know why the Announcer kept, saying Attic.? I guess its The same as a Common Cockloft. to the LAFD. 👨🏾‍🚒🧑🏼‍🚒The Interior Attack 🚒 Hose🚒 Companies did a good knock down Job, in Conjunction with the Seasoned 🚒Truck🚒 Companies, 🔥 Venting🔥 was the Key, for LAFD. The Brothers are the Bravest. 👍🏻🇺🇸
